KM Track
Automatic trip registration for electric cars. KM Track reads the car's own telemetry, turns it into business, private and commute trips and produces the monthly report the Dutch tax office asks for. Live product with paying customers.
Keeping a mileage log by hand is the kind of chore everybody postpones. KM Track removes the chore: you connect your car once, and every trip is recorded, geocoded and classified while you drive. A short stop is merged into the trip it belongs to, commute trips are recognised, and private kilometres are flagged when they approach the limit.
Under the hood a Postgres database on Supabase stores hundreds of thousands of telemetry frames in monthly partitions, simplified routes per trip and a full audit trail. The web app is built with Next.js and is available in Dutch, English, French and German. Subscriptions run through Mollie, with a free trial, discount codes and transactional e-mail written in the app's own voice. I built and run KM Track together with a business partner; it went from test phase to a paid product in autumn 2026.
